Explore this page to learn about each of these options and see which one is best suited for you today. Enrol in any mode, you can switch the membership anytime later.

Household memberships to The Plant Library are PAID. 

 

These are ideal for families and residential households who are interested in utilising the gardening services provided by The Plant Library. ​

Institutional memberships to The Plant Library is PAID.

 

These are designed for offices, commercial organisations as well as associations and societies that manage residential or commercial properties. 

Franchisees to The Plant Library need to INVEST. 

 

This type of engagement is ideal for entrepreneurs who have access to space and requisite funds tto set up and run a localised green business.

Individual membership to The Plant Library is FREE.

 

It is ideal for those who would like to utilise The Plant Library as a platform for learning and growth.  They could also access it to buy green products.

Individual
Household

Household Membership: PAID

  1. These are group memberships plans made for members residing in the same residential household.

  2. Individual members can upgrade their membeship to create a household (group) and include other individual members in the group.

  3. Any individual member can be part of only one household.

  4. Households can avail of professional gardening services provided by The Plant Library.

  5. Gardening Services are categorized as Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each refers to a certain size and quality of household garden, which includes kitchen garden, indoor, semi-indoor and outdoor ornamental plants. Super-platinum category is also available and refers to a beneficiary who needs a much bigger garden space to be managed. They would require  customised estamation, planning and execution of gardening jobs. 

  6. Each category requires an initial investment for setting up or upgradation of existing garden and a regular monthly fee for maintenance and upkeep. This includes regular visits by professionally trained gardeners, all consumables and seasonal change of plants.

Institutional

Institutional Membership: PAID

  1. These are group memberships plans made for members who work in the same organisation or work location.

  2. Individual members can upgrade their membeship to create an institutional commnity and invite other individual members into the institutional community.

  3. Any individual member can be part of only one institutional community.

  4. Institutional membership is designed to receive professional gardening services provided by The Plant Library.

  5. Gardening Services are categorized as Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each refers to a certain size and quality of institutional garden, which includes ornamental modular gardens of indoor, semi-indoor and outdoor ornamental plants. 

  6. Super-platinum category is also available and refers to a beneficiary who needs a much bigger garden space to be managed. They would require  customised estamation, planning and execution of gardening jobs. 

  7. Each category of membership requires an initial investment for setting up or upgradation of existing garden and a regular monthly fee for maintenance and upkeep. This pays for regular visits by professionally trained gardeners, all consumables and seasonal change of plants.

Franchisee

Franchisee: INVEST

  1. This is a special membership plan designed for those who want to build and run their own small business by setting up The Plant Library either in their own home or in a space of their choice and convenience.

  2. This requires a certain amount of minimum space availability which should be prominently located with easy access and ample visibility. The space may be fully outdoor or a mix of semi-indoor and outdoor. Easily accessable gardens, terraces or roof-tops are ideal. 

  3. We provide full support and back-up to a franchisees for setting up and running The Plant Library. They should be having the space, time and available investment capacity along with the passion for gardening and education. 

  4. The franchise is structured and designed to bring a combination of financial as well as social ROI. However the success of the venture is acutely dependent on the franchisees ability to network and influence the immediate local community.

  5. Financially the venture is expected to yield a ROI of around 20% to 30% after a minimum initial gestation period of 4 to 6 months. Scale of returns and extent of gestation period depends on ability to enrol new members and extend delightful service to existing members of The Plant Library. 

  6. At this point of time there are 4 different formats of The Plant Library:

  • TPL 100: made up of 1 G5 and 2 G3 Galleries with a total smartPlanter capacity of 100. In addition it includes 1 P6 Panel for LO-Farming and 1 T6 Trellis. Minimum space requirement for this format is 250 sq-ft.

  • TPL 250: made up of 3 G5 and 4 G3 Galleries with a total smartPlanter capacity of 250. In addition it includes 2 P6 Panels for LO-Farming and 2 T6 Trellis. Minimum space needed for this format is 600 sq-ft.

  • TPL-500: made up of 6 G5 and 8 G3 Galleries with a total smartPlanter capacity of 500. In addition it includes 4 P6 Panels for LO-Farming and 4 T6 Trellis. Minimum space needed for this format is 1500 sq-ft.

  • TPL-800: made up of 8 G5 and 12 G3 Galleries with a total smartPlanter capacity of 800. In addition it includes 6 P6 Panels  and 6 T6 Trellis for LO-Farming. Minimum space needed for this format is 2500 sq-ft.     ​
